We signed with our colleagues from Croatia in 1996 an agreement to intensify our collaboration and to shift in biannual organization of international OR symposia. Conference is organized one year in Croatia (KOI conference) and the next in Slovenia (SOR conference).
Croatian Operational Research Society (CRORS) has been established in 1992 as the only scientific society in Croatia specialized in operational research. The Society has more than 140 members and its main mission is to promote operational research in Croatia and worldwide for the benefit of science and society. This mission is being realized through several goals:
- to encourage collaboration of scientists and researchers in the area of operational resarch in Croatia and worldwide through seminars, conferences, lectures and similar ways of collaboration,
- to organize the International Conference on Operational Research (KOI),
- to publish scientific journal Croatian Operational Research Review (CRORR).
The 20th International Conference on Operational Research (KOI) will be held at Bluesun Hotel Soline, Brela, Croatia, September 25-27, 2024. Conference brings together scientists and academics as well as practitioners from various aspects of OR with the aim of establishing contacts network, presenting research ideas and sharing the most valuable experiences.
